Matilda Reid (b.2002) is an artist/photographer from Belfast, who lives and works between Glasgow and her hometown. Her projects often navigate the margins of presence and absence—unfinished building sites on New Mexican mesas, ghostly fragments from porn sites, and the overlooked labor of hotel cleaners. Reid’s work holds a charged stillness that transforms transient spaces into poetic, disquieting meditations on intimacy and distance.
